Hi, I’m Paul. I turn stories into professional novels. My background is in Comparative Literature and Classics. Not only do I have an intrinsic passion for books, but I have considerable academic grounding in them too. My goal, whether in my own writing or in the editing of texts, is the elevation of the written word.
Qualified copyeditor
I’m trained in copyediting and proofreading, and in literary criticism and analysis.
Training
I am CIEP (Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading) trained and qualified. I also hold a Master’s 1st class in Literature.
Experience
I am a fiction editor and have been working as such for over four years now, and have over a thousand hours of copyediting experience. I address all jobs on a case-by-case basis and with an approach particular to their needs and requirements. All aspects of the work can be reviewed with the client at each stage of the editing process.
